We shall not vend away or give away or disseminate your name, postal address, phone number, email address or any other information to any person whatsoever unless authorized by you with the methods of the Website, and we shall never release your information to any other companies or third parties for marketing purposes.

We use and shall keep using security measures comparable to extensively efficient online financial or net banking practices/systems to shield your information from unlawful, unauthorized, unconstitutional users.

By accepting the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement in registration, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the User Agreement. This Privacy Policy is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering users, and is otherwise effective on _____ 2012 for all users.

OVERVIEW:

In this Privacy Policy, references to “user” mean any person submitting any data to us or our agent or the Site. Hereby in the whole privacy policy a service will be implying services/products as mentioned and construed in the Terms of Understanding & Conditions for Use of Services.

PAAJAF is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that focuses on providing: Basic facilities (Food, shelter, clothing), Information (Healthcare, Community building, Job training), and Education for underprivileged and underserved children, youth and women.

When you visit PAAJAF you provide two types of information: personal information that you knowingly choose to disclose, that is collected by PAAJAF and Web Site use information, collected by PAAJAF as you interact with the PAAJAF web site.

Data protection is a matter of trust and user privacy is important to us. We shall therefore only use user’s name and other information which relates to user in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with user.

We will only keep user information for as long as we are either required to by law or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.

User can visit the Site and browse without having to provide personal details. During visit to the Site user can remain anonymous and at no time can we identify user only when the user have an account on the Site and log on with his/her name and password.

PERSONAL DATA:

In general, you can browse the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself.

We may collect various kinds of information if a user seeks to a service provided by us on through the Site. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us.

We collect, store and process user data for processing user purchase on the Site. On due process we may collect user’s title, name, gender, email address, postal address, delivery address (if different), telephone number, mobile number, fax number, payment details, payment card details or bank account details.

We need this information in order to allow user to go ahead with availing the services. We may pass user’s name and address on to a third party vendors in order to make delivery of the product to the user. We may also use users’ data in order to manage the Site, collect payment from user, enable users to subsequently use parts of the Site, detect any fraud or Site abuses. Payments that user will make through the Site will be processed by our Foundation which is registered in Ghana.

If you establish a credit account with us to pay the fees we charge, we collect some additional information, such as a billing address, a credit/ debit card number and a credit/ debit card expiration date and/ or other payment instrument details and tracking information from cheques or money orders.

User must inform us of any changes by informing our representatives, Foundation or the site.

We may automatically track certain information about you based upon your behaviour on our site. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our site or not), your computer browser information, and your IP address.

User’s actual order details may be stored with us and user may access this information by logging into user’s personal account provided on the Site. User undertakes to treat the personal access data confidentially and not make it available to unauthorized third parties. We cannot assume any liability for misuse of passwords unless this misuse is our fault.

We shall not share any of user’s personal information with third parties without user’s explicit consent. We view protection of user privacy as a very important community principle. We understand clearly that user and user’s Information is one of our most important assets. We use third parties to verify and certify our privacy principles. If a user objects to his/her Information being transferred or used in this way please do not use the site.

Under no circumstances do we rent, trade or share user personal information that we have collected with any other Foundation for their marketing purposes without user consent. We reserve the right to communicate user personal information to any third party that makes a legally-compliant request for its disclosure.

Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. COMMUNICATIONS:

If you choose to post messages on our message boards, chat rooms or other message areas or leave feedback for other users, we will collect that information you provide to us. We retain this information as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

CREDIT CHECK AND FRAUD PREVENTION:

We use standard and authorized payment services and our Credit Check and Fraud Prevention policies are aligned to the companies that are monitoring the method of payment. All disputes would be handled by courts of Ghana.

We may further anonymize data about users of the Site generally and use it for various purposes, including ascertaining the general location of the users and usage of certain aspects of the Site or a link contained in an email to those registered to receive them, and supplying that anonymized data to third parties such as publishers. However, that anonymized data will not be capable of identifying the user personally; and such sharing of anonymized data shall be subject to absolute confidentiality and professional purposes with no intent and chance of personal information disclosure.

THIRD PARTIES AND LINKS:

We may pass user details to other companies in our group. We may also pass user details to our agents and subcontractors to help us with any of our uses of user data set out in our Privacy Policy. For example, we may use third parties vendors to assist us with delivering services to user, to help us to collect payments from user, to analyze data and to provide us with marketing or customer service assistance. We may exchange information with third parties for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We may transfer our databases containing user’s personal information if we sell our business or part of it. Other than as set out in this Privacy Policy, we shall NOT sell or disclose user personal data to third parties without obtaining user prior consent unless this is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or unless we are required to do so by law. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties or other sites, nor for any third party to whom we transfer user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The acceptance of cookies is not a requirement for visiting the Site. However we would like to point out that the some functionality on the Site and ordering is only possible with the activation of cookies. Cookies are tiny text files which identify user computer to our server as a unique user when user visits certain pages on the Site and they are stored by user Internet browser on user’s computer’s hard drive. We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. When we collect data through the Site, we collect user’s personal details on a secure server. We use firewalls on our servers; this makes it hard for a hacker to decrypt user’s details. Users are strongly recommended not to send full credit or debit card details in unencrypted electronic communications with us. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of user information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to user. Users are responsible for protecting against unauthorized access to user password and to user computer.

DISCLOSURE WITH RESPECT TO LAW:

We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, such as: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights, to help protect you and the community from bad actors. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, email address, User ID history, fraud complaints, and bidding and listing history without a subpoena. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy and our ability to keep the community free from bad actors, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, email, and Foundation name to Intellectual Property Right’s owners under confidentiality agreement, as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.

CONSENT:

By submitting data to us or our agent or using the Site, the user consents to agreement of the Terms and also of agreement to our use of user data in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy.
